I get why people worry about privacy, but using AI to catch fraud actually protects honest taxpayers like us. It's a british tech solution that makes the system fairer for everyone who pays their taxes correctly.

Honestly using British AI to catch tax dodgers is just automating what accountants have been doing for years except now it's actually fast. People mad about this probably think HMRC should hire more humans to manually check spreadsheets while wearing monocles.

wait so you think humans manually checking thousands of returns is more efficient? why would we not use tech that catches what tired auditors miss?

Look, we've literally always used the latest tech to catch fraud-from ledgers to computers to now AI. Why would we suddenly reject a tool that actually works?

using ai to catch tax fraud is obviously good because catching bad people doing illegal stuff is better than not catching them. i once filed wrong and got flagged immediately, which actually helped me fix it before penalties hit.

yeah whatever, british ai for tax fraud is just gonna be mediocre when asian tech companies already have way better detection systems. waste of money honestly.
