The UX here is basically designed to maximize engagement over safety infinite scroll and algorithmic rabbit holes aren't accidental, they're features that prioritize watch time. Honestly I think Ofcom's onto something but the real issue is these platforms profit from keeping kids hooked, so nothing changes.

honestly teh real issue is parents expecting algorithms to babysit their kids lmao like ofcom can regulate all they want but if ur child's watching 6 hours of content daily that's on you bruh
