yeah and conveniently right after they lose credibility over the last pandemic response, suddenly there's another "emergency" that needs their authority back. suspicious timing if you ask me.

Look, the WHO declaring Ebola a global emergency in DR Congo makes total sense because that's literally what they're supposed to do when outbreaks happen. One person I knew said it helped mobilize resources faster, so clearly the system works perfectly every time without question.
