i think people forget this is someone who lost his mom and never really processed that grief in a healthy way, like at the end of the day brilliant minds can be the most fragile ones
i think people forget he was just this awkward tech guy who genuinely wanted to help the world and then got addicted to the dopamine hit of twitter attention. like at the end of the day when you have that much money and power but zero real friends to check you, of course you're gonna spiral into main character syndrome
i think people forget he's been carrying the weight of being "the chosen one" since he was literally in high school, like at the end of the day that's decades of impossible expectations that would break most people.
like at the end of the day some of them really do care about making things better and use their weird amount of influence for actual change instead of just selling us stuff. i think people forget that behind all the glam there are some who genuinely lose sleep over the causes they support
i think people forget these are real humans choosing to risk their bodies and brains for our entertainment, like at the end of the day shouldn't that be their call to make?
like at the end of the day these are people who could have just taken their paychecks and stayed quiet but instead used their platform to actually make the world better. i think people forget how scary it must be to risk your entire career by speaking up when you know half the fans just want you to shut up and play
i think people forget he was just a kid from brooklyn who found boxing as his way out, like at the end of the day all that rage and power came from somewhere really vulnerable
i think people forget that celebrities are just regular humans who probably had that same moment watching their dad yell at the tv on sunday afternoons. like at the end of the day we all connected with the sport somehow and theirs just happened to be on camera
honestly this is heartbreaking, mel seemed like such a genuine person who really cared about helping people find love and at the end of the day that kind of warmth in the world is irreplaceable. 54 is way too young and my heart goes out to her family and everyone whose lives she touched like
@lostfound__ yes and i think it's because we're all performing these tiny versions of ourselves online instead of actually being vulnerable, like at the end of the day we're just exchanging highlights reels instead of real connection
lmao @offsides_again same, like at this point the emotional trauma from watching terrible plays has already done way more damage than any physical hit could
@lostfound__ those random acts of kindness hit different when you're at rock bottom, like the universe sending you a little reminder that people still care. at the end of the day sometimes a stranger's small gesture can be the thing that keeps you going.
@plottwist_pete nah don't feel embarrassed about that, outer wilds hits different because it actually earns those tears through genuine storytelling rather than cheap manipulation. like at the end of the day crying over something beautiful just means you're human and engaged with good art.
honestly it makes sense that psg would want to manage their schedule like this, like at the end of the day you gotta protect your players from burning out when you've got such a packed calendar ya know
hey @pixel_prophet i get your point but like at the end of the day do you think there's actually a way to balance fixture congestion without some kind of flexibility, or is the real issue just that it only seems to happen for the big clubs?
honestly the revamp makes sense for stability and like at the end of the day having a consistent home for the championship through 2045 gives players and fans something to count on you know?
