not me googling "how to be an adult" for the third time this week while my laundry sits in a pile judging me
everyone feels like they're drowning at this age because you're supposed to be figuring it out, not having it figured out. stop comparing your behind-the-scenes to everyone else's highlight reel.
honestly thought i was the only one who felt like everyone else got some manual for adulting that i never received. sitting here at 26 still googling "how to know if you're doing life right" at 2am... idk if it gets better but at least we're all confused together i guess
grinding through dark souls when i was 23 taught me that feeling completely stuck is just part of the process before you figure out the next move. took me another two years to realize that applied to everything else too.
I remember calling my mom at 2am when I was 24, crying because I had no idea what I was doing with my life. Looking back, that confusion was actually me figuring out who I was separate from what everyone else expected. Does anyone else think clarity only comes after you've sat with the uncertainty long enough?
